vMEXICO Air Jordan 6 Shoes For Sale , Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- American company Netflix's renowned location scout was killed in Mexico while working for the hit series Narcos, which tells stories of drug cartel and the war on drugs, the company said Sunday.

Carlos Munoz Portal, 37, was found dead in his car in a notoriously violent area in Mexico state.

A friend of the victim told the Spanish newspaper EL Pais that Munoz was travelling in the region taking photos for location for the fourth season of Narcos. The death happened on Monday but the news came out recently.

"We are aware of the passing of Carlos Munoz Portal, a well-respected location scout Air Jordan 12 Shoes For Sale , and send our condolences to his family," Netflix said in a statement.

"The facts surrounding his death are still unknown as authorities continue to investigate," Netflix added.

Local police were reportedly having difficulties finding the murderer as the case lacks witnesses.

The victim has worked 10 years as a location scout and contributed to movies such as James Bond's latest version Spectre, the action series Fast and Furious, and Sicario.

Munoz's death raised doubts about whether the production of the Narcos series, which are about the rise and fall of Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar Air Jordan 11 Shoes For Sale , will continue in Mexico. The decision may affect hundreds of jobs in the South American country.

WASHINGTON, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) -- Alphabet, Google's parent company, is in discussion with the ride-hailing company Lyft about a possible 1 billion U.S. dollars investment, said U.S. media reports.

Alphabet's self-driving car unit Waymo announced a partnership with Lyft to develop self-driving technology together in May Air Jordan 1 Shoes For Sale , according to a Bloomberg report.

The possible new investment might not only enhance the two U.S. companies' cooperation in self-driving technology, but also give a boost to the No.2 ride provider in its battles against Uber.

It is reported that the deal might be as large as 1 billion U.S. dollars.

Lyft raised 600 million U.S. dollars in April from global investment funds, raising its value to 7.5 billion U.S. dollars.

Lyft announced in August that its service was available in 40 states in the United States, covering 94 percent of the country's population.
